You are right Cementhead...these people around here are weird looking...inbred miners I figure. 140 bucks a night for a comfort inn...what a rip off. Still better then the old Hojo...that place has seen better days. The international plowing match is just down the road and rooms up here are scarce.

Holed up in my room Don...old/new gold mining town...only people that can afford to stay at the Comfort Inn are hydro workers and me it appears. Its kinda on the outskirts of town. Yeah, you drive through main and there are a lot of strange looking characters staring at ya Cementhead. It has changed a lot since the last time I was here. 15 years ago...maybe I didn't notice them when I was 25 though.

Right back at ya Don (belatedly). Sun is shining here and we had some frost overnight. Wedding to attend this afternoon.

Lazy day up in the 'great white north', took my daughter to look at a small township job. They haven't got the forms of the concrete culvert yet. Maybe end of the week. Nice fall weather here. Leaves are changing colours in my bush. Steak and potatoes for supper. Heard some wild turkeys gobblin' this morning and shotguns shootin' Canadian Geese on Saturday morning. Autumn has arrived.
