Iron Range Snow & Trail Conditions
UPDATED (by the DNR) 12-20-10



Arrowhead State Trail
Condition: Fair
Groomed Miles: 128
Snow Depth: 15"
Trail Base: 3-5"
Groomed: NO


Grooming has begun on the trail.  As always please use extreme caution and watch for ice flowages and brush over-hanging on trail.





Taconite State Trail  
Condition: Fair
Groomed Miles: 165

Snow Depth: 15"
Trail Base: 2-3"
Groomed: Partially



The West end of the trail has been groomed.  Grooming on the East end to Ely has begun.  As always, please use extreme caution and watch for ice flowages and brush over-hanging on the trail.



McCarthy Beach State Park (12/15/10)
Condition: Poor
Groomed Snowmobile Trail Miles: 12
Snow Depth: 12"
Trail Base: 0"
